Where Were They Going????
About the project:
This project is a short and will be used for marketing purposes for
the feature following it which has already been written and is in the
editing phases. Project is not paid. Union or Non Union actors welcome,
but production company is non union. Actors participating in the project
will be cast in the feature. Short to be shot over 5 day, weekends
only beginning in March. Project must be done by the end of May 2008.
We will upload the short on YouTube, MySpace film, and put it on television,
plus have links on company website for exposure and submit it to film
festivals and show it at Indie Club. The short will be 10-15 minutes in
length. It's a comedy. The log line is Borat meets Anchorman with a bit
of Superbad. The twist: instead of falling in loving with a girl the
main character obsesses over his new story.
Who we are casting for:
Our roles are generic enough that anyone can play them if you would
like to receive copy and credit for your efforts and be a part of this
collaborative effort. Please send head shots and resumes to
Peopleinventingmotionpictures@yahoo.com and if we like you, you'll be
notified to attend an audition. Along with your résumé, please indicate
days that you are available on the weekends during our shooting time
frame which is March - May. Last day to submit résumés and head shots
is 2/22/2008. Auditions would take place the weekend of March 1st and
2nd, so keep the date open.

interested in helping out. We need at most a PA, Grip, Gaffer, & DP.
A PA is a production assistant who helps with any and all duties all
set. A grip handles the boom mike and the gaffer is in charge of lighting.
Lastly, the dp is a director of photography.
